• Good lighting
• Clean hands and earrings

Step 1: Open the Hoop

• Hold the hoop earring with both hands.
• Gently twist one end of the hoop sideways — not apart — to create a small opening. Twisting rather than pulling prevents the hoop from losing its shape.

Step 2: Insert the Earring

• Insert the thin end of your hoop into your piercing from the front.
• Slowly feed it through until the post is visible on the other side.

Step 3: Close the Hoop

• Align the thin post with the hollow end of the hoop.
